As a Board Certified life coach, I partner with my clients to overcome obstacles such as disorganization, lack of structure, unhealthy habits, and perfectionistic tendencies. I listen. In fact, during many of my sessions, I mostly listen. I ask questions to help you gain clarity about your situation and your true priorities. You will see our time together as a safe place to sort through your thoughts in a non-judgmental space because my goal is to help you make the positive changes you are seeking to create in your life. You set the agenda.
Coaching is different from therapy in that it’s focused on the present and future, not the past. I won’t dig into your history or analyze your emotions. Instead, I’ll listen with empathy, asking powerful questions to help you uncover your inner wisdom.
Together we’ll co-create a step-by-step plan tailored to your values, strengths, and vision for your best life. I’ll encourage you each step of the way as you take action, build confidence, and form life-giving habits and routines. You’ll gain clarity, direction, productivity, and a sense of control.
My role is to encourage and support you as you take manageable steps forward at your own pace. Progress, not perfection, is our aim. I will also serve as a witness on your journey and acknowledge how far you’ve come. It’s really easy to forget how much you’ve accomplished when you know you still have so much to do. I serve as the bystander who says, “Wait, remember when….was difficult……Look at you now!” It’s so important to give yourself credit for all that you’ve accomplished and I won’t hesitate to remind you when you forget.
We will follow the GROW coaching model which stands for:
We will create customized systems that make sense for your lifestyle and needs.
This may include:
– Streamlining tasks
– Implementing a daily/weekly routine
– Goal-setting and project planning to turn big dreams into doable steps
– Delegating and asking for help when you need it
This process won’t happen overnight. But with my support and encouragement, coupled with your determination, you will start to see real progress. Tasks that once seemed impossible will begin to feel manageable. You’ll find that you will be able to establish habits that allow you to maintain organization long-term.
There will be ups and downs on this journey, which is why having the support of a coach is so important. I will be your cheerleader, strategist and taskmaster when necessary. You won’t have to figure this out alone. Are you ready to create space, clarity and structure so you can thrive? Let’s chat about tailoring a coaching plan to your unique needs and goals.
